I left this place feeling scammed. Was told the omakase menu was JPY 33,000, so how did I end up paying JPY 54,000? Add 1,000 for offering to charge my phone - without telling me there was a fee. 1,000?! Add 10% service charge, then 10% tax. But even after adding drinks, there is still a JPY 6,000 difference between what I count and what I paid. I have nothing to add to the other comments as to the food, even if I was not as enthused. The price is definitely towards the very higher end of what you will pay for the same culinary level. The eel was dry cooked, a sin at a place like this - and at that price. So considering the scam like pricing, the high price itself, I cannot award more than 2 stars.

If i want to rate the best experience in Japan it would definitely be Sushi Kokoro. The chef prepared a wide variety of fish and explained for us about each one. Some fish are seasonal, you don't find it any time of year. The fatty tuna sashimi melt in my mouth! The taste was incredible! The ambiance was so cozy that I felt i am guest in someone's house. I came as a customer and left as a friend!
